Privacy

A redirect is a single request. Here is everything it produces and everything it is used for.

Collected
The short code requested, the IP address of the request, an approximate country derived from that address, the browser user agent, the referrer if one is sent, and a timestamp.
Purpose
Resolving the request, keeping the service running, counting clicks for the link owner, and looking into abuse.
Never asked for
A name, an email address or a password. Opening a link requires no account, so there is no identity to attach to a visit.
Never done
Selling, renting or brokering visitor data, or using it to build an advertising profile of an individual.
Disclosed to
The infrastructure providers that carry our traffic, and anyone a valid legal request obliges us to answer.
Retention
Request records are kept while they serve those purposes, then discarded.
After the hop
The destination site is not ours. Once your browser arrives there, its own privacy practices apply and we can see nothing of what follows.
